Eingebaute Batterien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ich habe eine Hassliebe zu ihnen. Man braucht sie, aber sie liefern nie das, was man erwartet. Auf einer langen Reise gehen sie eigentlich viel zu oft und viel zu schnell aus. Auf meinem Stahl-Zweimaster Karma aus Stahl<\/em> Ich segle in langen Etappen um die Welt. Denken Sie an 40 Tage Non-Stop-Segeln, zum Beispiel von Brasilien nach Kapstadt oder jetzt von Neuseeland nach Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Karma<\/em> Um f\u00fcr diese neue Etappe ger\u00fcstet zu sein, musste ich wieder neue Batterien kaufen. Die alten Blei-S\u00e4ure-Batterien aus S\u00fcdafrika waren schon wieder kaputt. Wahrscheinlich liegt das an mir. Ich bin ein Segler. Ich liebe die Leere und die Ruhe des Meeres, das Pl\u00e4tschern der Wellen an einem ruhigen Tag oder das Brummen, wenn es in den 'roaring forties' rau wird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich mag es nicht, wenn ich den Motor starten muss, um Strom zu erzeugen, aber ich kann mich dem auch nicht entziehen. Die Sonnenkollektoren und der kleine Propellerwellengenerator liefern nicht immer genug, um die Batterien zu laden. Ich versuche jedoch, das Fahren mit windstillen Zeiten zu kombinieren. Oft sind die Batterien dann zu schwach, und das k\u00f6nnen sie nicht vertragen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mit den neuen LiFePO4-Akkus hoffe ich, dieses Problem in den Griff zu bekommen. Man kann sie problemlos auf 10% entladen und dann einfach wieder voll aufladen. Ich habe zwei mit einer Gesamtkapazit\u00e4t von 560 Amperestunden installiert. Wenn sie ganz leer sind, dauert es eine Weile, bis sie sich wieder f\u00fcllen. Urspr\u00fcnglich wollte ich die vorhandene Hitachi-Lichtmaschine, die serienm\u00e4\u00dfig in den Yanmar-Motor eingebaut ist, zum Laden verwenden, aber ein befreundeter Segler riet mir, mich mit Smartmarine in Verbindung zu setzen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das tat ich dann auch, und zwar an einem Samstagabend per E-Mail. Diese erste E-Mail wurde noch am selben Abend mit genau den Informationen beantwortet, die ich brauchte. Am n\u00e4chsten Tag schickten wir erneut eine E-Mail und vereinbarten einen Telefontermin f\u00fcr Montagmorgen. Ich bekam genau den Rat, den ich brauchte.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Smartmarine verkauft (neben vielen anderen praktischen Dingen) Hochleistungs-Lichtmaschinen von Electromaax. Ich wollte mich erst nicht darauf einlassen, weil man bei einer neuen Lichtmaschine auch einen neuen Regler, andere Riemenscheiben und einen schwereren Keilriemen einbauen muss. Daf\u00fcr hatte ich einfach nicht die Zeit. Ich wollte Karma aus Stahl<\/em> vorbereiten und endlich, nach jahrelangen Verz\u00f6gerungen durch COVID und andere, wieder in See stechen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Die Fachleute von Smartmarine haben mich davon \u00fcberzeugt, dass das m\u00f6glich ist. Die Electromaax-Generatoren passen genau dorthin, wo die Standard-Hitachi-Generatoren passten. Der fortschrittliche Electromaax-Controller kann entweder neben den Batterien oder neben dem Motor installiert werden. F\u00fcr die Riemenscheiben gibt es einen Standardbausatz, der einfach so auf den Motor passt, und f\u00fcr Spannungsspitzen liefert Electromaax einen wunderbaren System Surge Protector. Ich wusste nicht einmal, was das ist und ob ich es brauche, aber jetzt bin ich bestens informiert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ein paar Wochen sp\u00e4ter bestellte ich die Ausr\u00fcstung und nahm sie in meinem Koffer mit nach Neuseeland. Zugegeben, es kostet ein bisschen, aber daf\u00fcr hat man eine dauerhafte L\u00f6sung. Die Installation war dank der praktischen YouTube-Videos und der verst\u00e4ndlichen Handb\u00fccher von Electromaax ein Kinderspiel. Wenn ich Fragen hatte, konnte ich mich an Smartmarine wenden, der prompt, freundlich und auf den Punkt reagierte, sogar am anderen Ende der Welt. Wirklich sehr nett!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ich fahre jetzt seit ein paar Wochen damit und alles funktioniert im Moment sehr gut. Wenn die Batterien leer sind, lasse ich 100 Ampere Strom (bei 12 Volt) bei etwa 1.500 U\/min laufen und sie f\u00fcllen sich wieder. Wenn es schneller gehen soll, erh\u00f6he ich die Motordrehzahl und die Lichtmaschine liefert (in meinem Fall maximal) 160 Ampere. Mehr ist auch m\u00f6glich, aber das brauche ich nicht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was ich auch sehr sch\u00e4tze, ist, dass Smartmarine nicht nur die Electromaax-Ger\u00e4te verkauft, sondern auch mit mir \u00fcber den gesamten Schaltplan der Installation nachdenkt, \u00fcber die Dicke der Kabel und dar\u00fcber, wie ich meine Starterbatterie aufladen kann, um nur einige zu nennen. Was f\u00fcr Profis, und wie sch\u00f6n, dort Kunde zu sein. Ich werde zwar nicht daf\u00fcr bezahlt, aber ich freue mich aufrichtig, f\u00fcr sie zu werben!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
