Boating apps
The WiFi connection of our muliplexers turns every laptop, PC, mac, tablet and smartphone into an (extra) screen.
While sailing, you like to have the image of the plotter at the steering position. When sheltering under the spray hood, you leave the plotter and easily take the image on a tablet or smartphone. In the evening, at the chart table or dinette, cosily plot the next day's route together on your laptop.
Smart, affordable & simply connected
An additional advantage of the current apps is that the map material gets faster updates at a much lower cost.
There are also several apps that act as a dashboard of all the data available on board. From battery monitoring, AIS targets, engine rpm to tactical sailing info.
All this for a friendly budget.
Waterkaarten.app
The Waterkaarten app is a route app that uses the ANWB Waterkaarten. The app also provides all information from the ANWB Wateralmanak and locations of marinas. The app also includes up-to-date information on bridges and locks, including opening times and navigation restrictions from Rijkswaterstaat. In this, they are absolutely unique and of added value in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, UK and France. The route planner of the Waterkaarten app is really brilliant and works great. And through our intense cooperation, they have now also added Live AIS which works hassle-free with our equipment.

OpenCPN
If you have any knowledge of hardware and software, this is surely the favourite. OpenCPN is an open source navigation programme. Free.
It offers many possibilities, but does not yet excel in user-friendliness. If you want to use all its features, there is a big learning curve.
The instruments and tactics plug-ins work perfectly with our multiplexers.
Available for Windows, Linux, Mac and Android. Our multiplexers are fully supported.
Navionics
Who didn't grow up with it could be the slogan.
A user-friendly interface with lots of up-to-date data. The Sonarchart is a nice option. Navionics has a layer for AIS data but unfortunately not yet the option to display the other instruments.
Available for iOS and Android and limited but free browser version. Quark-Elec has official 'compatible with Navionics' designation. Smartmarine is an official dealer of Navionics.
WinGPS
A Dutch product from Stentec. Especially the app for Android and Windows is very comprehensive, including AIS, tide information, grib files coastal fine-mode and wifi connection with onboard instruments. The price is a bit higher but for that you get a user-friendly and nice piece of software.
Available for Windows, iOS and Android. Our multiplexers are fully supported.
iNavX
The serious runner-up and award winner. Lots of choice in your desired chart material. AIS overlay and various other data. Despite its many features, still user-friendly.

iSailor
iSailor is a cheaper alternative to the Navionics app. The app is free and the charts are cheaper. All basic functions are present and the app is clear. iSailor has displays for AIS and instruments. However, it lacks some nice Navionics functions such as ETA, course line (it is there, but very limited). Information on ports is also more limited.

iRegatta (Pro)
Ideal app that displays all available data in the form of a dashboard. From wind speed, wind angle, depth, course to sail trim.
Available for iOS and Android. All our multiplexers are fully supported.
