EmTrak AIS pairing with Quark-Elec A032

Connecting power supply

EmTrak AIS Connect the EmTrak directly to 12V/24V via the supplied power cable.

Quark-Elec A032 Connect the A32 to 12V using the NMEA 2000 power cable

  • Red thread = 12V plus (+)
  • Black wire = 12V minus (-)
Other cables are not used.

NMEA 0183 data connection

Connect the following NMEA 0183 wires between the EmTrak and the Quark-Elec A32:

  • Blue from the EmTrak → Grey from the A32

  • Brown from the EmTrak → Black from the A32

When the connections are correct, the LED lights on the A32 will start flashing as a sign of activity.

Connection via WiFi

You can connect to the A32 via WiFi. The default WiFi password is: 88888888
