Checklist sailing at sea

Depending on the sailing area (e.g. coastal waters, the so-called small square or further offshore), an insurer may require specific safety equipment. Therefore, always check the policy conditions and ask your insurer for the current list of required safety equipment before planning a longer trip at sea.
