This plastic thru-hull NMEA 2000® smart transducer combines accurate depth, speed and temperature signals with a position sensor for inclination/trim and pitch/roll data. It can read depths of up to 330 feet (100.6 m) and provides a fast 5 Hz water speed signal output for smoother visualisation on compatible chartplotters or other displays.
Also works perfectly with Quark-Elec NMEA2000 multiplexers, via WiFi or USB depth and speed through the water on your tablet, smartphone or laptop.
Thanks to Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, you can manage sensor data calibration very easily via the Airmar Cast app interface. And with the 235 kHz sensor's operating frequency, you can avoid mutual interference with other sonar devices on the boat. Thanks to the wide, fan-shaped beam width of 10 x 44 degrees, the transducer can find the bottom even when installed on a hull with a steep deadrise or a tilting sailboat.
