ARCO Zeus 48V Advantage
The ARCO Zeus A8000-48V alternator delivers impressive performance: it switches on at lower revs, stays cooler and delivers more power than other, often larger and heavier, 48V alternators.
This alternator continuously generates more than 3 kW (55A) at 2,500 RPM and almost 6 kW (111A) at 4,000 RPM, alternator RPM . In practice, this means a marine diesel charging at 1,200 RPM with a 3.13:1 pulley ratio delivers over 5 kW (97A).
Genuine 48V alternator
Whereas many competitors use 12V rotors in their 48V models (resulting in power loss and risk of overload), ARCO uses a native 48V rotor with corresponding field current. The result? More efficient, cooler operation and longer alternator life.
