The IC-M330E's receiver ensures reliable communication in a busy high-frequency environment such as in a marina, for example. (Selectivity and IMD (intermodulation distortion): both better than 70 dB).
The IC-M330E continuously monitors channel 70, even when listening to another channel. DSC functions include: emergency, individual, group, all ships, urgent, safety, position request/report, polling request and DSC test calls.
