The AS08N2K is a compact , high-performance gyro electronic compass with attitude sensor. With a built-in 3-axis magnetometer, 3-axis rate gyro and together with the 3-axis accelerometer, it gives highly accurate, reliable heading and boot lattitude, simultaneously with pitch and roll data in real time due to its high-quality firmware and advanced algorithms.
With solid state electronic technology and software, the AS08 generates more than 0.4° heading accuracy at ±45° of roll and pitch angle, even 0.6° roll and pitch accuracy in static conditions.
The AS08N2K is pre-calibrated for maximum accuracy. Ready to use straight out of the box.
Connect to 12v and then it instantly tracks the calculation of the vessel's heading, pitch and roll data and sends this data directly via NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 or USB. To your navi software, chartplotter, autopilot, mfd's, or to the QK-A36 vessel data recorder. Also suitable for replacing your autopilot compass.
