The Raymarine Element 9S Chartplotter is an ideal Navigation Display for those people who don't need sophisticated sonar on their boat but have demands on their GPS system. The stripping out of this feature is therefore reflected in the very attractive price of this fantastic chartplotter.
The Element 9S Chartplotter features a large clear 9-inch All-Weather Display. Whether it is raining or the sun is shining straight onto the display, you can see everything flawlessly. The built-in GPS is very accurate and ensures you always know your way around on the water. The Element 9S works in conjunction with charts from leading chart makers such as Navionics, C-Map and, of course, Raymarine's own Lighthouse NC2 charts.
The 64-bit Quad processor ensures that maps are drawn with unmatched speed. Menu and page transitions are also smooth and fast. The menus are again designed to feel simple and intuitive. This makes operating the Raymarine Element 9S very easy. The key controls feel good and prevent fingerprints on the screen. The shortcut keys allow you to get to your favourite screen at the touch of a button, and the big orange Waypoiny button lets you mark that beautiful destination in one fell swoop.
The information on the Element 9S is optionally expandable by, for example, Quantum Radar (via Wi-Fi only) and an AIS receiver. This makes your way as a skipper even safer on busy waterways. The Element 9S can be connected in an NMEA 2000 network.
