The Standard Horizon GX-1850E is a 25-watt marine radio. The GX1850 has an integrated 12-channel WAAS GPS receiver and is NMEA 2000 compatible.
The compact housing makes the marine radio effortless to place in most cases.
Through the clearly laid-out menu, operated via clear icons, you come across many options. Save your 10 favourite channels there, for instance, or go to priority scan, among others. It has never been easier. DSC calls, position sharing, navigation of waypoints, navigation to DSC emergency calls can all be done with just a few simple steps.
Upon activation, the DSC DISTRESS function sends a digital MAYDAY including vessel identification, longitude, latitude and time to facilitate a quick response. Additional calls that can be made are Individual, Urgency, Safety, Position Report and Send.
