The Victron Lithium 12.8V/100Ah LiFePO4 Smart battery is based on lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4 or LFP) technology, the safest among lithium-ion battery types.
Victron Smart LFP batteries feature integrated cell balancing and cell monitoring. This allows cell voltage and battery temperature information to be read and monitored using the Victron Connect Bluetooth app. Two cables transmit this information to an external Battery Management System for integration with other system components.
Note: this model does not have an internal BMS!
