The Victron Multi RS Solar 48/6000/100-450/100 is a powerful, lightweight, and integrated hybrid inverter/charger with a dual MPPT solar charger for 48V systems. This model has been specially developed for demanding applications in off-grid, ESS, and grid-tied systems with energy storage, and is compatible with both lithium and lead-acid batteries.
With a continuous AC output power of 6kVA and two independent MPPT inputs (each 450V/13A), this unit supports up to 6kWp of PV. Furthermore, thanks to the latest firmware (from version 1.24), it is possible to use the Multi RS Solar without a connected battery in a “PV Inverter Only” mode. This makes the system ideal for phased installations or grid feed-in projects without battery backup.
From firmware v1.25, 3-phase ESS support is also available, making the Multi RS perfectly scalable for larger projects in combination with other RS units and a GX device such as the Cerbo GX. Monitoring, configuration, and updates are easily carried out via Bluetooth (VictronConnect), VE.Can (GX), or remotely via the Victron VRM Portal.
The Multi RS Solar features active cooling, integrated relays for generator control, VE.Direct, VE.Can and a clear status display. This unit is suitable for residential and marine applications.
