After a long wait, launches Em-Trak the X100. A fixed VHF radio with DSC and a powerful AIS transponder in one compact unit, including WiFi and Bluetooth. Developed for water sports enthusiasts who want less separate equipment but maximum functionality and safety on board.

Powerful specs in one device 💪🏼

AIS Class B SOTDMA with 5 watts

The X100 transmits and receives AIS at 5 watts via SOTDMA. This ensures better visibility for other vessels and more stable position transmission, especially on crowded waters and at higher speeds. Of course, a silent mode is also available when you temporarily do not want to transmit.

One antenna, less installation work

Thanks to the integrated VHF antenna splitter, you only need one VHF antenna for both VHF and AIS. This saves extra hardware, cabling and installation time.

Full-fledged VHF radio with DSC
As a VHF radio, the X100 is a Class D VHF with 25 watts transmit power. All common international channel sets are present, including ATIS. DSC functions are logically integrated so that emergency calls, individual calls and group calls can be operated quickly and conveniently.

WiFi, Bluetooth and NMEA integration

The X100 streams AIS and GPS data via WiFi directly to navigation apps on phone and tablet. In addition, it can be fully integrated into existing on-board networks via NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183. So it works both standalone and as part of a larger system.

Your smartphone as a wireless handset
With the CONNECT X app, you use your smartphone as wireless control. You can control VHF and DSC functions, monitor AIS traffic and receive notifications wherever you are on board. Ideal when docking, locking or working on the foredeck.

Multiple devices and intercom
Multiple mobile devices can be linked at the same time. This allows the crew to listen in or communicate via an internal intercom function, without everyone having to stand by the fixed VHF radio.

Advanced MOB support
The X100 supports AIS MOB and AIS PLB devices. In a man overboard situation, alarm signals are immediately visible on the linked devices and you get clear guidance on how to find the person. In emergency situations, the system can also help initiate a DSC distress call quickly and correctly.
