The B954 is a high transmit power (5W SOTDMA) Class B AIS transponder that is small and light, yet delivers very good AIS reception and transmission performance. You can see other ships appearing on your screen from afar due to the high power. And always a free channel for maximum visibility.
The AIS receiver has an internal GPS receiver and can be installed inside most polyester ships. For installation in steel vessels, for example, the AIS transponder offers the option of connecting an external GPS antenna. No more GPS problems on an Apple device.
The B954 combines WiFi and Bluetooth for seamless wireless connectivity and AIS data streaming to any mobile device or PC, works perfectly with the Water Charts App.
Intelligent connectivity, integrated VHF antenna splitter and GPS receiver and antenna and the unique FLEXI-FIT™ bracket system, makes installation easy.
